Red Doors Farm enjoys splendid views across the Otter Valley. It feels totally off the beaten track but yet it is so accessible. We are 3 miles from the market town of Honiton and Exeter is a 30 minute drive away. East Devon is known as the "countryside by the sea" and the unspoilt coastline with its pretty fishing villages and smugglers coves is only half an hour away.

The area is superb for walking whatever your level of fitness. You can enjoy fine countryside and fabulous views right from our doorstep, follow the coastal path or explore the wilds of Dartmoor and Exmoor. Lyme Regis has a famous Cobb harbour and the Jurassic Coast which has now been given World Heritage Coast status. See East Devon and the beaches.

There are many historic houses, castles and gardens including some fine National Trust properties such as Killerton House, Castle Drogo Knightshayes Court. Powderham Castle, Forde Abbey, Bicton Park, and Escot.

There are plenty of attractions for children of all ages from theme parks and wildlife parks to steam railways and farms. Crealy, Woodlands, Pecorama and Seaton Tramway.

Or they could try something different such as sea fishing for mackerel, fossil hunting or pony trekking and golf. Parachute School for tandem skydiving or try drive 4x4 at the Land Rover Experience.
